In the
framework of the legal awareness project that the association of Egyptian
lawyers execute co-operated with mama cash organization, holding the first
workshop with civil associations in matareya and ain shams region to work on
lifting the skills and capacities of the civil associations to counter the
sexual harassment phenomena. This targeted maintaining the role these organizations
to face the problem of sexual harassment inside Egyptian street for the sake of
safe society for Egyptian women .the events had started with identifying the
needs of these associations and proposals of its workers to work on facing this
phenomena within the legal framework of associations to counter these practices
that shame Egyptian society and exposing girls to psychological problems as a
result to negative effects of such sexual harassment practices. The workshop
had been executed at on of headquarters of civil associations “Egyptian
association for disseminating and developing legal awareness. Fourteen
participants had been attended (male, female) as representor of six
associations in Matareya and ain shams region.
