The political participation of Women in local elections

 

The project aims to enhance Women participation in local elections in 2012 through providing knowledge andawareness to 12000 Women from underserved areas in Giza, Fayoum and Qaliubiya of their electoral rights, in addition to form a network of 60 female lawyers to lead the electoral campaign befor 2012 local elections ( to guarantee providing services and awareness programs for Women continuously). The project is funded by Open Society Foundations- Arab.
