Association<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>of<\/a>\u00a0the\u00a0Egyptian<\/a>\u00a0Female Lawyers (aefl<\/a>) is\u00a0a registered NGO with
\nthe\u00a0Egyptian<\/a>\u00a0Ministry\u00a0of<\/a>\u00a0Social Solidarity (#3236) with the mission\u00a0of<\/a>
\nactivating\u00a0Women<\/a>\u2019s political participation\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0supporting\u00a0Women<\/a>\u2019s legal\u00a0and<\/a>
\npolitical rights that approved by national law\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0international conventions.<\/p>\n

Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aefl<\/a>\u00a0works towards spreading the values\u00a0of<\/a>\u00a0gender equality, justice,\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0freedom within\u00a0Egyptian<\/a>\u00a0society, encouraging girls\u00a0and<\/a>ladies to get their political, social\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0legal rights through achieving the following goals:<\/p>\n

1) Empower Women<\/a>\u00a0to defend their political, legal,\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0social rights.<\/p>\n

2)Raise awareness\u00a0of<\/a>\u00a0Women<\/a>\u2019s political status\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0the importance\u00a0of<\/a>\u00a0activating their
\nrole within\u00a0Egyptian<\/a>\u00a0society.<\/p>\n

3)Build a strong front\u00a0of<\/a>\u00a0female lawyers who are qualified\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0involved in both political
\nand<\/a>\u00a0public\u00a0life<\/a>.<\/p>\n

4)Raise awareness\u00a0of<\/a>\u00a0the international conventions\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0instruments protecting human,
\nparticularly\u00a0Women<\/a>\u2019s, rights in order to change the culture\u00a0of<\/a>\u00a0the
\ncommunity.<\/p>\n

Aefl<\/a>\u2019s policies for working are as follows:<\/p>\n

Provide services for\u00a0Women<\/a>\u00a0in general\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0female lawyers in particular within the
\nLawyers Syndicate\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0its branches in five governorates (Giza, BeniSwif,
\nEl-Manya, Qena,\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0Aswan). These services will ensure\u00a0Women<\/a>\u2019s freedom from
\ngender discrimination, regardless\u00a0of<\/a>\u00a0the economic, political, social conditions
\nthat they are living in. Aefl<\/a> believes in a woman\u2019s right to hold any organizational position, as stated in their developmental\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0human rights plans. Aefl<\/a>\u2019s work focuses on the principle\u00a0of<\/a>\u00a0transparency for better performance\u00a0and<\/a> permanent success\u00a0and<\/a>\u00a0superiority.<\/p>\n

The General Assembly\u00a0of<\/a>\u00a0AFFL is 96 female members representatives from five
\ngovernorates (Giza, BeniSwif, El-Manya, Qena, Aswan).<\/p>\n

Technical skills<\/u>: writing reports, establishing work plans, preparing project documents; use of social media;
\nIT skills<\/u>: use of Excel and up-to-date software.

The call is open to national and international volunteers.
