  1. The right <\/strong>to<\/strong><\/em> practice political<\/strong><\/em> rights and to monitor elections:<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Egyptians have made two of the greatest revolutions on 25 January and 30 June, which aimed at attaining freedom, human dignity, and social justice for all Egyptians, independence of the national will and rejection of trading<\/em> on religion. However; goals of the two revolutions will not be achieved unless Egyptians are able to stand up and participate in the public life to emphasize that people are the source of powers. So, activating citizens<\/em>‘ <\/em>political participation by conducting free and fair elections is a necessary requirement for<\/em> international conventions and constitutional principles.<\/p>\n

    In\u00a0view of the above, the\u00a0coalition calls for the<\/em>\u00a0following:<\/h3>\n

    1-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>The state shall pass a law for establishing the Independent Election Commission according to 2014 constitution and forming its institutional structure.<\/em><\/h3>\n

    2-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The state shall implement effective<\/em> complaints mechanisms for responding to CSOs’ complaints while monitor elections.<\/h3>\n

    3-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>The State shall<\/em> review and purify the voter rolls on a regular basis and allow citizens to vote online.<\/em><\/h3>\n

    4-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The state shall<\/em> be obliged to raise voters’ awareness of <\/em>their social and\u00a0political rights<\/em>.<\/h3>\n

    5-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>The state shall take necessary<\/em>\u00a0procedures<\/em>\u00a0that enable persons<\/em>\u00a0with\u00a0disabilities to participate and vote in the election.<\/em><\/h3>\n
